Crafted in Stellenbosch from a blend of 35% Pinotage, 33% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 32% Merlot, this iconic wine reflects Beyers Truter’s unwavering belief in South Africa’s signature grape, Pinotage. The grapes are harvested at optimal ripeness, vinified separately, and matured for 22 months in 100% new French oak barrels, with only the finest barrels selected for the final blend. The 2021 vintage delivers remarkable concentration, elegance, and structure, with the large-format bottle offering exceptional ageing potential.

The nose opens with intense aromas of cassis, blackberry, and ripe dark fruit, layered with cedar, subtle spice, and hints of dark chocolate from the French oak.
