Description

Graham Beck Blanc de Blancs 2019 750ml is an exceptional vintage Cap Classique crafted exclusively from 100% Chardonnay grown on the limestone-rich vineyards of Robertson in the Western Cape. Only the finest tête de cuvée juice is selected through gentle whole-bunch pressing before fermentation, with 50% of the base wine matured in seasoned French oak barrels and large foudres to add richness and complexity without overpowering the fruit. The wine then spends an impressive 60 months on its lees using the traditional Méthode Cap Classique, developing remarkable depth, finesse, and a beautifully persistent mousse. The 2019 vintage is an outstanding expression of Graham Beck’s internationally acclaimed sparkling winemaking, offering exceptional elegance, freshness, and ageing potential.

The nose reveals vibrant aromas of fresh citrus, green apple, pear, and white flowers, beautifully complemented by notes of roasted almonds, brioche, and delicate spice. On the palate, layers of succulent citrus, crisp orchard fruit, and creamy yeasty complexity are balanced by lively acidity and a fine, persistent mousse that creates a luxurious mouthfeel. A distinctive mineral backbone carries through to a long, elegant finish with lingering hints of brioche and citrus freshness. Graham Beck Blanc de Blancs 2019 is an outstanding aperitif and pairs beautifully with oysters, sushi, scallops, grilled seafood, creamy cheeses, and refined poultry dishes.
