Description
Moët & Chandon MCIII 750ml is an ultra-prestige Champagne from the legendary House of Moët & Chandon in Épernay, France. Created as a tribute to the House’s mastery of time and maturation, MCIII is an extraordinary multi-dimensional cuvée composed of wines matured in three distinct environments: stainless steel tanks (metal), oak casks (wood), and bottles (glass). The blend combines still wines from the 2003 harvest, Grand Vintage wines from 2002, 2000, and 1998 aged in oak, together with Grand Vintage Collection Champagnes from 1999, 1998, and 1993 matured in bottle. Aged for around 15 years before release and finished with a low dosage of 5g/L, MCIII is a rare and highly collectible Champagne that showcases exceptional complexity, richness, and elegance.
The nose is remarkably layered with aromas of coffee, mocha, praline, liquorice, Tonka bean, pecan nuts, toasted pastry, and ripe citrus peel, followed by delicate mineral and sea-air nuances. On the palate, luxurious notes of candied citrus, nectarine, plum, dried fig, and dates unfold alongside hints of vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, and warm spice. A silky, full-bodied texture is balanced by vibrant freshness, culminating in a long, precise finish with chalky minerality and a subtle saline edge. Moët & Chandon MCIII pairs magnificently with lobster, turbot, langoustines, black truffle risotto, foie gras, roasted poultry, and refined slow-cooked cuisine, making it an extraordinary Champagne for the most memorable celebrations.
