Alto Shiraz 2022 750ml is a premium Stellenbosch red wine produced from 100% Shiraz grapes grown on the renowned slopes of the Helderberg Mountain in South Africa. Matured for 14 to 16 months in a combination of French oak barrels, this vintage showcases exceptional balance, depth, and elegance. The warm days and cool evenings of the 2022 growing season allowed for slow ripening, producing concentrated fruit flavours, refined tannins, and a beautifully structured wine with excellent ageing potential.

The nose opens with harmonious aromas of crushed red plums, raspberries, cigar box, and savoury charcuterie. On the palate, vibrant raspberry and plum flavours are complemented by hints of pomegranate, subtle smoke, earthy undertones, and well-integrated savoury oak. Silky tannins create a smooth, layered mouthfeel that leads to a long, refined finish. Alto Shiraz 2022 pairs beautifully with grilled sirloin, braised lamb shank, charcuterie boards, mature cheeses, or can be enjoyed on its own.
