Description

Graham Beck Blanc de Blancs 2018 750ml is an exceptional vintage Cap Classique crafted exclusively from 100% Chardonnay grown on the limestone-rich vineyards of Robertson in the Western Cape. Only the finest tête de cuvée juice is selected before fermentation, with a portion fermented in French oak barrels to enhance richness and complexity. The wine is then matured on its lees for a minimum of 48 months using the traditional Méthode Cap Classique, creating remarkable depth, elegance, and a beautifully refined mousse. The 2018 vintage is a benchmark expression of Graham Beck’s world-renowned sparkling winemaking, offering exceptional freshness, minerality, and outstanding ageing potential.

The nose reveals vibrant aromas of fresh lime, green apple, pear, and lemon zest, beautifully complemented by delicate brioche, toasted almonds, and subtle spice. On the palate, layers of succulent citrus, crisp orchard fruit, and creamy biscuit notes are balanced by lively acidity and a fine, persistent mousse. A distinctive mineral backbone carries through to a long, elegant finish with lingering hints of brioche and citrus freshness. Graham Beck Blanc de Blancs 2018 is an outstanding aperitif and pairs beautifully with oysters, sushi, scallops, grilled seafood, creamy cheeses, and refined poultry dishes.
