Journey’s End V3 Cabernet Franc 2022 750ml is a premium single-varietal Cabernet Franc from Journey’s End Estate in Stellenbosch, crafted as part of the acclaimed V Series that celebrates the estate’s exceptional coastal terroir. Produced from 100% Cabernet Franc grown on a single vineyard block situated 280 metres above sea level on Tukulu soils with a high decomposed granite content, the grapes are hand-harvested, hand-sorted, and fermented in open-top tanks with gentle punch-downs to extract refined tannins. Following malolactic fermentation, the wine is matured for 14 months in second-fill French oak barrels, resulting in a beautifully balanced expression with elegance, freshness, and remarkable ageing potential through to 2032.

The nose reveals expressive aromas of ripe cherry, savoury olive, and wild fynbos, beautifully complemented by sweet cinnamon spice and subtle oak nuances. On the palate, vibrant red and dark fruit flavours are supported by coastal freshness, Mediterranean minerality, and soft, powdery tannins that create a refined, harmonious mouthfeel.
