Since its first release in 1989, Grand Classique has become one of South Africa’s benchmark Bordeaux blends, celebrated for its balance, elegance, and exceptional ageing potential. The grapes are hand-harvested, whole-berry fermented with extended skin contact, and matured for 18 months in a combination of 50% new and 50% seasoned French oak barrels before the final blend is assembled. The 2021 vintage delivers remarkable concentration, structure, and finesse while beautifully expressing the unique character of the Simonsberg-Paarl terroir.
