Quoin Rock Chardonnay 2021 750ml is a premium South African Chardonnay crafted from 100% Chardonnay grapes grown across two exceptional vineyard sites in Stellenbosch and Cape Agulhas. Following whole-bunch pressing, the juice is fermented in a combination of stainless steel tanks, concrete eggs, and 500-litre French oak barrels, with approximately 40–50% new oak. The wine is matured for 10 months before blending and then bottle-aged for at least one year prior to release. This meticulous approach produces a Chardonnay of remarkable elegance, complexity, and mineral-driven character with excellent ageing potential of up to 10 years.

The nose reveals inviting aromas of ripe citrus, orange peel, creamy butterscotch, toasted brioche, and beautifully integrated vanilla oak. On the palate, luxurious sweet citrus and ripe yellow fruit are complemented by vibrant natural acidity and a distinctive saline minerality, creating excellent balance and a rich, textured mouthfeel. The finish is long, smooth, and refined with lingering notes of citrus, oak spice, and freshness.
