The vineyard’s ancient weathered granite soils and distinctive koffieklip (coffee stone) provide exceptional drainage, producing grapes of remarkable concentration and character. Hand-harvested at optimum ripeness, the fruit is carefully sorted before small-batch fermentation and matured for approximately 22 months in premium French oak barrels. The 2020 vintage is a powerful yet refined expression of Cabernet Sauvignon, showcasing Glen Carlou’s decades of expertise with this noble varietal and offering outstanding structure, elegance, and long-term cellaring potential.
